Brace Yourself...A new kind of strength has arrived! Plumwall Ltd. is a special product branch of a 30-year-old Canadian innovative design and manufacturing business. The company is located in Pickering, Ontario, Canada. Laser fabrication technology and state of the art design capability has led to the development of a premier all-in-one bracing system. This bracing system eliminates the "part left behind" issues that frustrate builders on the job site. Design. Build. Exceed. Truly an example of "necessity being the mother of invention", the designer searched for a suitable bracing system for his own building project. The designer needed a bracing system that would allow the option of platform or ground level adjustment, a compact fold-up design and quick and easy set-up. Unable to find the right system...he made it. After four years of supplying the Plumwall system throughout North America, we have added to our product line to include a full line of bracing products to fulfill the I.C.F. industries requirements. The Plumwall product line consists of the Original Brace System, Econo Brace System, Knee Wall Brace System, Corner Brace System and Commercial System.


COMMERCIAL BRACE SYSTEM The demand for higher walls has led to the Plumwall Commercial System. The Plumwall Commercial System is a modular system designed to brace ICF walls up to 24’ in height and is fully adjustable. This system is comprised of three main components that are combined and stackable to give support to 8’, 16’ and 24’ walls. The ladder is the strongback and comes in 8’ modules. The outer brace is used to extend that base when the ladder modules are stacked. The platform allows workers to have a work platform that can be installed in 12” increments. Appropriate safety railings can be built to comply with local codes at any level. The contractor is able to continue supporting additional wall heights with the Plumwall Commercial System without having to remove any components. For example, you can build the first 8’ section of wall, align it, pour it and then add additional modules to extend the wall up to 24’ in height. Conversely, you can build the entire height (up to 24’) and pour through the windows in the wall, since the platforms and safety railings can be placed anywhere and even in multiples along the height of the wall. ORIGINAL BRACE SYSTEM The Plumwall Original Brace comes in a standard 10’ length, is lightweight (only 54 lbs) and is still the favorite of many builders due to the all-in-one feature of the brace. The brace is best utilized for repetitive jobs where the wall heights are smaller. All components are bolted or pinned in place with the telescopic diagonal brace adjustable in 3” increments. The brace folds up to a compact size for easy transportation and then unfolds with all components attached – nothing gets left behind. There are slots in the back of the strongback so you can secure the brace directly to the block or use the block straps (which are included) for additional strength. The optional ground screw can be used in appropriate soil conditions for quick installation. Steel or wood stakes, screws or nails can also be used to secure the brace to the sub-floor. The diagonal foot has a full swivel base that can be fastened at any angle. Alignment can be done by one person from either the platform or from the ground. A railing pocket allows for different styles of safety railings to be built to comply with local codes. The adjustment system is enclosed to protect it from concrete spillage. KNEE WALL BRACE The Knee Wall Brace was specially designed for 4’ foundation or frost wall applications to align the wall quickly and accurately without having to use a full-size brace. Utilize the accuracy and efficiency of a normal brace without having to shore up the wall with wood strongbacks and stakes. This rigid brace, designed in the same Plumwall style as the Original and Econo Brace systems, is comprised of a 4’ upright and an adjustable strut.
